Receiving Specialist

Position: Receiving Associate
Place of Work: Orrvilon Manufacturing Division in Orrville, OH 

Holtec International seeks qualified applicants for its Receiving Associate position to receive verbal or written instruction from the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, loading and unloading trucks by using the appropriate equipment or by hand, receive deliveries, put away parts and supplies and other materials on shelves or in other designated storage areas, verify all materials received against the packing slip, and report any missing materials, shipping errors, and damages to the supervisor, assist the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor in preparation for and execution of the annual physical inventory, perform cycle counts throughout the year as directed by Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, maintain proper and legible identification/tagging on stored inventory, assist manufacturing by locating inventory and delivering to designated assembly area, may be required to prepare parts, supplies, and other materials for shipment which includes packing, loading, and wrapping on pallets, may be required to perform quick turn deliveries and pick-ups, using company vehicle, to/from one of our locations and/or suppliers in Pittsburgh, Columbus, or Cleveland areas, complete required documentation to record daily time and production, maintain work area in a safe, clean, and orderly condition, perform work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements including using all required personal protective equipment, along with other duties as assigned. 

Desirable Qualifications: High School Degree or equivalent minimally required, valid Ohio Driver’s License, fork truck operation and material handling experience, 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse function; previous experience in a metal manufacturing environment preferred, intermediate to advanced computer skills and knowledgeable with computer databases and various Company provided applications, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
