Holtec Palisades seeks qualified applicants for the position of Supervisor, Regulatory Assurance/ Records in its Regulatory Assurance department based at Palisades Nuclear Power Plant in Covert, MI.

Job Summary:

Responsible for ensuring regulatory inspection readiness, executing responsibilities under the Reactor Oversight Process (ROP), and compliance with records management requirements.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interface with regulatory and industry representatives regarding regulatory compliance activities. 
  • Communicate technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing. 
  • Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization. 
  • Work with Site departments to schedule and implement self-assessments and benchmarking initiatives. 
  • Ensure various departments are ready for NRC inspections. 
  • Develop and revise procedures in accordance with current regulatory and administrative requirements. 
  • Ensure regulatory document records retention requirements are met.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6 years commercial or military nuclear experience or equivalent related industry experience.
  • Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation. 
  • Proficient in regulatory inspection processes.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint.
