Job Description:

 

The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, staging, and distributing materials and products to meet the production and logistics needs of Holtec International and its Advanced Manufacturing Division. This role is reported directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and provides support to other department supervisors and shop production as needed. The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in ensuring materials are handled safely, efficiently, and accurately to maintain smooth operations across the facility.

 

Specific Areas of Responsibility:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Safely load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
  • Pick, stage, and deliver materials and parts to production areas and other departments as requested.
  • Assist in preparing products and materials for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  • Accurately complete required logs, labels, and documentation for material movement and inventory.
  • Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations for optimal space utilization and accessibility.
  • Perform routine equipment checks (forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks) and report issues promptly.

  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk, hear, and stand for long periods of time. The associate is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel, and use repetitive motion. The associate may be exposed to adverse environmental conditions, such as in a typical warehouse or external loading areas.
  • This role can be physically demanding and may require the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Degree or Equivalent
  • 2–5 years of Warehouse, Logistics, or Material Handling Experience

 

Optional Additional Qualifications:

•    Previous experience in a Metal Manufacturing Environment.

 

Salary Range: $18.00/hr - $22.00/hr
