Internal Audit Analyst

The Internal Audit Analyst is responsibile to objectively review company staff and to evaluate and improve an organization's governance, risk management, and control processes, ensuring operations are efficient, compliant with laws, and aligned with goals, ultimately adding value by identifying weaknesses and suggesting improvements.
Location: Camden, NJ
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage vendor bills from receipt to payment
- Data entry.
- Ability to review invoices for accuracy and verify conformity with the purchase order.
- Identify and resolve vendor invoice errors to ensure that all accounts payable procedures are adhered to according to established internal Holtec guidelines.
- Proactively identify aged invoices and address outstanding issues to maintain acceptable ageing.
- Interact with both internal (project managers) and external customers (vendors) to collectively resolve outstanding issues in a professional manner.
- Key purposes include providing assurance to management and the board, managing risks, improving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, and preventing fraud.
- Analyze business processes for improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and reliability.
- Investigate financial irregularities and potential misconduct.
- Examine accounting records, optional data, and financial statements for accuracy and discrepancies.
- Identify vulnerabilities and strength defenses against fraud.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to management.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Effective organizational skills with the ability to problem solve.
- Proficiency in MS office programs.
- Previous SAP/ERP program experience.
- Accounting license/degree.

- Annual compensation based on skills and experience ranging from $70,000 - $85,000
- Additional compensation earned through incentive structure
