The Corporate Trainer is responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that support organizational effectiveness, employee development, leadership capability, compliance, operational excellence, and business performance. This position serves as a strategic partner to both the Training Department and Human Resources, ensuring learning initiatives align with workforce planning, talent development, culture, compliance, succession planning, and organizational objectives.

 

The Corporate Trainer will work closely with leaders across the organization to identify training needs, develop learning solutions, facilitate instructor-led and virtual training, and support key Human Resources initiatives including onboarding, leadership development, employee relations training, performance management education, ethics and compliance training, succession planning, and organizational change initiatives. This role requires a professional with a strong foundation in Human Resources and adult learning principles who can effectively engage employees at all levels of the organization and support the development of a high-performing workforce.

Primary Responsibilities:

Learning & Development

  • Design, develop, and facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs for employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Conduct organizational training needs assessments and develop learning strategies to address identified gaps.
  • Create and maintain training materials, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, presentations, and e-learning content.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and business performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
  • Support administration and optimization of the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Partner with functional leaders and subject matter experts to develop technical, operational, and professional development curricula.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development throughout the organization.

Human Resources Partnership

  • Collaborate with Human Resources to design and deliver enterprise onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Support leadership development, talent management, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Develop and facilitate training on workplace conduct, anti-harassment, ethics, compliance, performance management, and company policies.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to address organizational capability needs through targeted development programs.
  • Support organizational change initiatives through training, communication, and employee readiness activities.
  • Participate in workforce development and talent review processes to identify learning and development opportunities.

Leadership Development & Talent Growth

  • Design and facilitate leadership development programs for supervisors, managers, and emerging leaders.
  • Create learning pathways that support employee career progression and internal mobility.
  • Support succession planning initiatives by developing programs that prepare employees for future leadership and critical business roles.
  • Partner with leaders to identify high-potential talent and recommend development opportunities.
  • Assist in establishing competency frameworks and development plans aligned with organizational needs.

Nuclear Quality Culture & Compliance Training

  • Support training initiatives that reinforce a strong nuclear quality culture and commitment to safety, integrity, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and facilitate training related to questioning attitude, procedural compliance, human performance principles, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Compliance, Legal, Quality, and Human Resources to deliver ethics, compliance, and code of conduct training programs.
  • Assist in maintaining required compliance training programs and supporting audit readiness activities.
  • Ensure training programs align with regulatory, quality, and organizational requirements.

Organizational Development

  • Facilitate workshops focused on leadership effectiveness, communication, teamwork, coaching, conflict resolution, change management, and employee engagement.
  • Support organizational development initiatives designed to improve team effectiveness and business performance.
  • Analyze organizational trends and recommend learning solutions that support strategic business objectives.
  • Contribute to culture-building initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Program Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
  • Develop and monitor annual training plans and learning calendars.
  • Track participation, completion rates, and training effectiveness metrics.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership regarding workforce development activities and outcomes.
  • Manage multiple training projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and quality results.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in corporate training, learning and development, organizational development, human resources, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and facilitating training programs for employees at multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience supporting Human Resources programs including onboarding, leadership development, performance management, employee relations, succession planning, or organizational change.
  • Experience facilitating both in-person and virtual learning programs.
  • Experience working within a matrixed organizational structure preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, energy, industrial, construction, or other highly regulated environments preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and facilitation techniques.
  • Working knowledge of Human Resources practices including talent management, performance management, employee development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Strong understanding of leadership development and organizational development principles.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, coaching, and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to influence and build credibility with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and virtual training platforms.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable learning solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality deliverables.

Compensation:

  • Annual compensation based on skills and experience ranging from $85,000 to $105,000.
