Holtec International, a multi-national energy technology company headquartered in Camden, NJ, seeks qualified applicants for the leadership role of the Company’s Human Resource department. This position is becoming vacant following the announced retirement of Holtec’s long-serving Corporate Director of Human Resources. This position carries overall responsibility for all human resource recruitment and management activities pertaining to the company’s workforce which consists of both college-educated knowledge workers and skilled craft labor. Management of personnel (including labor) relations, employee benefits, workers’ compensation, payroll, policy development, and human resource acquisition to support the Company’s rapidly growing operations in the US and overseas are among the discrete responsibilities of the Corporate HR Director. Key responsibilities also include developing strategies to attract most talented applicants for the wide array of positions open at the Company’s various operation centers, providing strategic leadership to the department’s HR specialists, devising effective human talent development strategies, ensuring compliance of policies and procedures with contemporary federal and state laws, stewardship of the performance evaluation process for the Company’s workforce , and collaboration with the Corporate Governance Officer to foster a supportive and nurturing work environment for the Company’s associates at all operation centers.
The Corporate HR Director reports to a member of the Company’s Executive Committee.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, organizational development, or a related field
- At least 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role
- Familiarity with labor and employment laws, HR compliance, and HR best practices
- Excellent writing and effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in the use of HR information management software such as ADP
Desirable Additional Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in human resource management, organizational development, or related field
- Experience in management of HR operations for a multi-national company
- SCP or CP certification by the Society of HR Management (SHRM)
Salary Range: $180,000-$230,000
