Associate Project Manager II

The Associate Project Manager II is responsible for principal activities consisting of managing complex projects within Holtec’s Nuclear Power Division, focusing on design, engineering, fabrication, and delivery of spent nuclear fuel management equipment. They will work with internal technical and fabrication departments and client stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of their projects. They will also mentor less Project Managers on their projects. Periodic travel is required (10-15%).

Primary Responsibilties:
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets to match the scope requirements for client contracts.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Facilitate design reviews for compliance with engineering principles, contract requirements, and applicable standards.
- Approve design changes, specifications, engineering analyses, and drawings.
- Monitor the detailed scope, quality, performance, schedule, and budget of projects in accordance with Holtec procedures and standard practices.
- Lead projects through technical issues and project challenges, providing solutions to keep the project on track.
- Partner with Business Development on the preparation of proposals to clients for future work.
- Communicate between internal and external stakeholders on project status.
Requirements:
- B.S. in engineering from an accredited, 4-year university.
- 0-2 years of related experience.
- Strong time management, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint, Word, and Excel, and similar programs.

- Annual compensation based on skills and experience ranging from $85,000 - $100,000
