Holtec International, a multi-national company in the green energy industry including nuclear and battery energy storage, is seeking to recruit a degreed Accountant at its Camden Technology Campus. The prospective candidates must have experience in either public accounting, manufacturing or construction accounting disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with the Company’s monthly closing schedule.
  • Prepare various balance sheet and income statement account analyses and reconciliations on a timely basis and investigate any differences.
  • Prepare general ledger journal entries, including accompanying supporting documentation.
  • Prepare cash, fixed assets, prepaid, intercompany and accrual reconciliations.
  • Assist with monthly consolidation of financial statements.
  • Prepare other management reporting schedules as required.
  • Assist with the annual financial statement audit, including preparation of various account analyses and financial statement and footnote supporting schedules.
  • Assist the Accounting Manager in fulfilling various other responsibilities of the Accounting/Finance Department.
  • Intercompany transactions and consolidated financial reporting.
  • Interacting with local accounting groups in the Company’s overseas operating centers.
  • Reconciliation of transactions in various international currencies. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, ability to work independently.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, time management and problem solving skills. 

 

Salary range: $85,000 -$100,000
