Accountant II

Holtec International, a multi-national company in the green energy industry including nuclear and battery energy storage, is seeking to recruit a degreed Accountant at its Camden Technology Campus. The prospective candidates must have experience in either public accounting, manufacturing or construction accounting disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with the Company’s monthly closing schedule.
- Prepare various balance sheet and income statement account analyses and reconciliations on a timely basis and investigate any differences.
- Prepare general ledger journal entries, including accompanying supporting documentation.
- Prepare cash, fixed assets, prepaid, intercompany and accrual reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly consolidation of financial statements.
- Prepare other management reporting schedules as required.
- Assist with the annual financial statement audit, including preparation of various account analyses and financial statement and footnote supporting schedules.
- Assist the Accounting Manager in fulfilling various other responsibilities of the Accounting/Finance Department.
- Intercompany transactions and consolidated financial reporting.
- Interacting with local accounting groups in the Company’s overseas operating centers.
- Reconciliation of transactions in various international currencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, ability to work independently.
- Strong analytical, organizational, time management and problem solving skills.
Salary range: $85,000 -$100,000
